Good Friday

Sermon Notes

Today, we continue our Back to the Garden series by entering the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus chose obedience in the face of unimaginable suffering. In Luke 22, we see Jesus praying in agony, fully aware of the weight of sin He would carry. Though overwhelmed, He submitted to the Father’s will and began the journey to the cross.

As we follow His path—from betrayal to mockery, from denial to death—we see not just the cost of our sin, but the depth of His love. Jesus was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities, and gave His life so we could be restored to relationship with God.

Join us this Good Friday as we reflect on the garden where Jesus surrendered, the cross where He suffered, and the sacrifice that opened the way back to God.
