Care Resources by Topic

Jesus offers hope and healing in all circumstances. It is our heart to be a church that cares well for individuals, families and marriages. One of the ways we do that is by offering recovery classes that cover a wide range of topics. August - November our trained recovery leaders offer a rotating selection of Care & Recovery Classes for adults, students and kids. While these classes are only offered seasonally, our Care Mentors for individuals or couples are available year-round to offer ongoing hope and care.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” John 11 : 28-30

After Abortion Care

The impact of an abortion can be widespread and long-lasting, but there is hope and healing available. Whether the abortion was years ago or recent, whether it was one abortion or several, no matter your story, now is your chance to meet with someone who understands. Connect with someone who has a similar story and who can walk with you as you discover your next step in recovery and care.

Divorce Recovery

Find hope and support for the whole family facing separation or divorce. Whether it happened yesterday or thirty years ago, you can start on the road to recovery and find both hope and healing. Our classes offer adults a safe place to be honest, to be real, and to find healing from the pain and hurt caused by marital separation or divorce.

Infertility & Miscarriage

Connect with our volunteers, couples who have walked similar journeys through infertility, miscarriage, or stillbirths. Our programs include 10-week recovery studies for women, stand-alone events for Q&A, to one-on-one opportunities to connect for both husbands and wives. You aren’t alone. There is hope.

For guests, we offer compassionate mentors who provide comfort, understanding and encouragement.

Grief Class for Kids

Our Grief Recovery for Kids leaders go above and beyond to create a safe place for kids & teens who have experienced the loss of a family member, friend, or loved one. This interactive grief support program uses Watermark Community Church’s “SHIFT” curriculum and the programming coincides with the adult Grief Recovery classes. Evenings include fun games, crafts, practical teachings, and group discussions. Kids & teens get a chance to talk with adults who have experienced similar losses when they were children, creating a safe space to open up and process their own experiences.
