About In sex by design
We live in a time when culture changes fast and can often confuse people. From what are the distinctions and roles of men and women, to the purpose and role of marriage, to the gift of sex, we are going to study how the Bible clearly explains how God designs gender, marriage, and sex to lead to every person flourishing.
In this series, we will discuss how we have departed from the perfect God-given design for gender and sexuality. Parents, we recommend that you use caution in letting your kids stream this series.
This is the last week in our Sex By Design series! This week we're discussing God's design for marriage and how marriage is the foundational relationship, a commitment, and unity in a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. The roles of husbands and wives are explored, and we see the importance of sacrificial love and submission between men and women. You will see how marriage reflects Christ's relationship with the church and offers hope for rewriting stories through Christ's love and grace.

In this message, David Marvin explores the purpose and design of sex according to God's plan. Sex is meant to be an exclusive and protected gift to be enjoyed between one man and one woman in the context of marriage.
However, our culture has devalued sex, leading to pain and regret. We learn how sex has permanence and bonding power and how serving and sacrificing for our spouse leads to a deeper and more meaningful connection. Despite past mistakes, God's love and forgiveness offer hope and healing.

It's week 3 of our Sex By Design series, and today we're diving into God's design of women. We're going to see the Scriptures elevate four qualities in women: they are reflectors of God's image, strong helpers, unique and distinct in their creation, and life-givers both biologically and spiritually.
The Scriptures encourage women to embrace their God-given value and purpose, even when societal norms may undervalue or misrepresent them. We're also going to see the importance of mothers in bringing forth life and nurturing the next generation, both physically and spiritually, echoing the sacrificial love of Christ.

This week we are discussing the importance of biblical masculinity and God's design for men. We're in the middle of an epidemic of fatherlessness, and it's all the more important to have a biblical vision for what God's man is supposed to be. David Marvin explores four truths from the creation account in Genesis, focusing on the need for men to courageously follow God's word. Jesus is presented as the ultimate model of biblical masculinity, and we also see the role of men in leading, loving, and protecting women. Lastly, God emphasizes men's responsibility to better God's world through raising godly children, excelling at work, and living for something beyond this world. We're calling men to be courageous, godly, and impactful in their lives and communities.
This week we addressed the confusion between gender and biological sex and the harmful effects of gender ideology. We walked through Genesis 1–2 and Romans 1, and the passages encouraged us to battle sin, hold onto truth, protect children, love others, and find hope in God's victory.
