On a Mission of Submission

Sermon Notes

Welcome! We're so glad you're here! This Sunday, Josh Fortney will walk us through 1 Peter 2:11-3:7, pointing us to the main idea that for the sake of Christ, we're on misson through submission. In the last four weeks going through 1 Peter, we have focused on our identity in Christ, and now Peter is showing us how we are to practically live this out. Peter puts it in 1 Peter 2:17: "Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor". Join us as we dive deeper into God's Word!

Big Idea of 1 Peter: As God's chosen people, believers are called to endure suffering with hope, following in the footsteps of Christ, trusting that their trials serve to sanctify them and prepare them for the glory to come.
