Preschool – Serving Others: Jesus Washes the Disciples’ Feet

Questions to Ask Your Child

  • What were the disciples arguing about?

  • Why was washing feet a job for a servant?

  • How do you think the disciples felt when Jesus washed their feet?

Family Activity

Let your child set up a free “Bike Wash” for neighborhood kids. You will need a hose, bucket and plenty of old towels. Let your kids serve other kids by making their bikes super shiny clean! This would be a fun activity to do as a community group!

Wrap-Up

With each lesson, help your child apply what they have learned by asking, “What do you think God wants us to learn from this story?” If you get stuck with finding the answer, refer to the weekly Teaching Truths.
