What is the role of a shepherd? What is the role of the sheep?
The shepherd’s role is to lead, guide, and care for his sheep. The sheep’s role is to follow the shepherd.
Read Psalm 23 together. In what ways do we see God responding to us with gentleness?
He leads us, guides us, comforts us, provides for us.
What is the most important way God shows his gentleness toward us?
By sending his son Jesus to pay for our sins so that we could have a relationship with him now and be with him forever.
