When the “shifts” of life occur, the aftermath is unpredictable and rarely stable. Our hope for kids dealing with the loss of a loved one is that as they process the shift they've undergone, they'll be equipped with the tools they need to build a solid foundation of faith and hope.
Our Grief Recovery for Kids & Teens class is a 13-week program featuring facilitators who have experienced loss, a small group consisting of peers from the same age group who are also processing the death of a loved one, and age-appropriate lessons and activities to help kids and teens explore their grief and God's promises regarding comfort, healing, hope and eternity. The curriculum we use is titled “Shift”.
