I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, and I love my home state – because my fondest memories and favorite things are good people and good food! Good thing we get plenty of that in Texas as well.

I grew up in the church and was baptized at five. I was terrified at the horrors of hell and knew nothing of the glories of heaven. I was not attracted to Christ but scared of the possibility of eternal suffering. It was not until I was 16 when listening to a preacher on TV, I realized my mind had never been renewed/ made new (Rom 12:1-3) according to Scripture. I was a professing Christian but a practicing atheist; living as God was not real and had no implications on what I said, thought, and did. This set me on a journey to discover who this Jesus was that I had grown up around but really did not know. From that time forward, there has been a trajectory of wanting to share with others the goodness, kindness, and love of Jesus Christ.

My wife, Danielle, and I met after finishing Graduate school for Danielle and seminary for me. We both went to LSU as well, and I graduated in Psychology and Sociology. We got married on Oct. 16th, 2010, and moved to DFW in January 2011. Many years later, we have four kids, three girls and a boy. Through the years, we both have had a multitude of workplaces. I most recently worked in Operations for a school district before joining the CityBridge team.
