I grew up in McKinney, Texas, as the youngest of three boys. I went to Austin College to complete my under-graduate and graduate degrees before becoming a middle school teacher and coach in Frisco ISD. I came to know Jesus in 2015 through co-workers who pursued me relentlessly and hearing the gospel clearly for the first time while listening to sermons on an App.
I am passionate about kids’ ministry and am honored to be part of what God is doing to raise up the next generation of fully devoted followers of Christ. I met my wife Sonja as we served kids together and am now a proud father to Samuel our new baby boy. In my free time I love going for hikes with my dog, playing any sport or game I can, and hanging out with my family.
