Amy Massinger

re:Generation Coordinator

My name is Amy Massinger. I was born in Oklahoma, but got to Texas as fast as I could! I grew up in Plano, TX, raised in a beautiful Christian home with 2 loving parents and a younger brother. I went to Trinity Christian Academy and met my husband, Martin, our senior year. We got married in 1997. I received my HR/Business degree in 2012. I have always been drawn to helping people grow their faith. I began serving in the recovery ministry in 2006 and in 2010 moved to Women’s ministry. In 2017, God called me back to Trinity Christian Academy to teach Pre-K children. After 5 years of loving on these sweet kiddos, God asked me to join the CityBridge team as the full-time ReGeneration Coordinator. The ministry of ReGeneration has always had a large place in my heart. As a young girl, God pursued me and drew me to His Word. I have struggled with bi-polar 2 since I was a teen, and without God, my life would be marked by self-reliance, control, and anger. I am so thankful that God keeps me close and humble. Because of Jesus, I constantly pursue truth to battle intrusive thoughts and lack of self-worth. I am the daughter of the King of Kings, and feel so blessed He chose me!

Martin and I have 3 kids. Two are married, and we have a senior in high school. We are expecting our first grandchild November 1, 2024. Martin is a wonderful boyfriend and husband! He keeps me grounded and loves me unconditionally! We both love spending time together especially at our ranch home in Hamilton, TX. I enjoy walking, running, working out, reading, and crocheting and knitting. Weirdly, I also greatly enjoy cleaning house! My current goal is to get my Masters and doctoral degree from seminary.
