Teaching Truth

  • Jesus has the power to heal because He is God.

  • A miracle is something wonderful only God can do.

Questions to Ask Your Child

  • What does Jesus have the power to do?

  • What did Jesus tell the men to do?

  • How can we give Jesus glory for how He takes care of us?

Family Activity

At home, help your child draw a large heart on a piece of paper. In the center of the heart write “Jesus has the power to heal because He is God.” Have your child decorate it and place band-aids all over the heart to remind them that Jesus can heal us.

Application

With each lesson, help your child apply what they have learned by asking, “What do you think God wants us to learn from this story?” If you get stuck with finding the answer, refer to the weekly Teaching Truths.
